Radha Sekar is a member of the Senior Executive Service in the Federal government. Currently she is the Director for Priorities Programs (DPP) within the Business Transformation Agency of the Department of Defense that guides transformation of business operations throughout the department and establishes enterprise level priorities and requirements for business operations. The DPP Directorate’s main mission is the deliver priority capabilities to the department in an effective manner.
Prior to assuming the role of DPP, Ms. Sekar was the Director of Transformation Priorities and Requirements serving as the primary link to the Principal Staff Assistants and the Under Secretaries of the Secretary of Defense to combine the vision of the staff assistants with operational knowledge of current enterprise-level capabilities to prioritize and develop future capabilities in the areas of business operations. Ms. Sekar initially served as the Director of Financial Transformation with the Office of the Secretary of Defense to the DPP Directorate.
Before joining the government, Ms. Sekar was a Partner with the IBM Corporation, specializing in the development and implementation of new and reengineered business processes and the application systems which support them. Immediately preceding that, Ms. Sekar was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC. Ms. Sekar has 17 years of experience managing projects for complex financial and supply-chain business processes for Fortune 100 organizations and the federal government. Throughout her career, she has served in program management and program executive roles on multiple, high-visibility projects for commercial and government and clients.
Ms. Sekar holds undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. She received her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from University at Buffalo, SUNY.
