A milestone was reached today as JumpStart International now employs more than 500 Iraqi workers for the first time, in its 11th week of operations in Baghdad.
JumpStart began work in Baghdad in late September with one worker. By the end of October, roughly 110 workers were employed, completing two projects and beginning three additional projects. By the end of November, some 300 workers were employed, with six projects completed and beginning an additional ten projects. To date, approximately eight buildings have been demolished and approximately ten buildings have been cleared and cleaned in Baghdad.
