JumpStart International

JumpStart International has received word that our Gaza country director has been kidnapped and taken by Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Adam Budzanowski was abruptly taken from the offices of JumpStart while conducting business with several of the local Palestinian administrative staff. The kidnapping occurred during a sweep of several international offices and was not specifically directed at JumpStart.  It has been reported that nine additional hostages have been taken at this time. 

Mr. Budzanowski is a Canadian citizen and the Canadian Embassy, along with the local Palestinian Authority, is negotiating toward his release.
