JumpStart International has begun clearing battle-damaged houses in Fallujah, 43 miles (69 km) west from Baghdad.

We have also started recycling and clearing the remains of seven houses to assist the local residents. A total of 70 local workers have been employed in this effort. We plan our workforce to grow to over 300 in the next few weeks, working on dozens of houses, mosques, and stores in the Jolan, a neighborhood in northern Fallujah.
