With the addition of 11 project locations in Fallujah and a total of 65 sites in Baghdad, the JumpStart International workforce has increased to 2,868 at last count, and is growing continuously.
Roughly 80 percent of JumpStart's workforce is involved in clearance projects, with the remaining 20 percent engaged in reconstruction projects, featuring the building of low-cost and transitional housing for Iraqi citizens. JumpStart has 130 Iraqi engineers on-staff, including mostly civil engineers, but also architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers.
JumpStart work sites are being added and changed so rapidly that we are currently unable to maintain the website with all the new project sites. We have recently hired a JumpStart photographer/videographer and web site person to document the work, and we plan to have the web site more accurately reflect the work we are doing in late-July.
