JumpStart International co-founder and Deputy Program Manager Mohaymen Al Safar was assassinated today as he traveled between two JumpStart work projects in Dora, Baghdad. Insurgents fired 10 bullets into the driver's side door from a passing Opel. He was killed by a bullet through the heart. Mohaymen Al Safar was 26 years old.

Few men have done more for their fellow man and for their country. He chose, with courage, to build and create... while others chose to destroy. He leaves behind a grieving family and a fiance.
